Privacy Policy
Takhti Grow (Android app com.homilabs.takhtigrow) · Effective 10 October 2026
Takhti Grow is made by HomiLabs Solutions SMC Pvt Ltd ("HomiLabs", "we"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who processes it, and how you can delete it. Lesson content comes from the Takhti Online YouTube channel, used with permission.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and sign-in method (Google or email and password). Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see them.
- Age and terms confirmation: that you confirmed you are 18 or older and accepted the terms, with the date. We do not ask for your date of birth.
- Your activity in the app: which lesson steps you completed and when, your streak, quiz answers and score, your reminder times and your time zone.
- Your reflections: your answer to "Did you do today's action?" and the optional note you write (up to 500 characters). These are personal; only you can see them in the app.
- Feedback you choose to send: a star rating and an optional comment.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, technical details (device model, Android version, app version, error trace) are sent to Firebase Crashlytics. They do not include your reflections.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising ID. The app shows no ads and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Why we use it
- To run your account, keep your progress and reflections when you change phones, and show your streak.
- To send the two daily reminders you choose (these are created on your phone).
- To improve the pilot: we look at overall numbers (for example how many people finish Lesson 1) and at feedback. Your reflection notes are not used for this.
- To fix crashes.
Who processes it
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics) stores and processes the data above for us. Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Google servers, currently in the United States. See Firebase privacy.
- YouTube: lesson clips play in YouTube's embedded player. When you play a clip, YouTube (Google) may collect information under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Sign-In, if you choose it, shares your name and email with the app.
Takhti Online (the content partner) does not receive your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, progress, reflections and feedback are deleted straight away, and your sign-in account is removed. Crash reports are kept by Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Firebase backups may hold deleted data for a short time before they expire.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account. Or see how to request deletion without the app.
- Change your name or reminder times, or turn reminders off, in Profile.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or a correction: homilabs.smc@gmail.com.
Adults only
Takhti Grow is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the effective date, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
